How soon should I handle the pigs after capturing in the Pig Brig?

Clear your trap as soon as possible. This is especially important for daytime catches. Pigs do not do well in the heat or sun. For nighttime catches, we recommend clearing the trap before or at first light, the pigs will be calmer and easier to euthanize, but in general, the sooner you clear the trap, the better.
