Ahhhhh, we like sleep, too. The answer is no! We designed the Pig Brig Trap System to work without any cell phone or remote activation required.
The trap does the work while you sleep by taking advantage of feral hogs' natural behavior. Hogs walk into the trap and can't walk back out.
We do recommend checking your trap no later than first light the following morning. Arriving early helps minimize stress on the captured hogs, reduces the chance of non-target interactions, and allows you to address your catch as soon as possible.
So go ahead and get a good night's sleep. Then grab your morning coffee and head to the trap by first light.
